Identification:
White belly and olive back. Black throat, cap, and cheek with yellow eyebrow, malar, and crescent under eye. Two white wing bars.

Cool Facts:
Townsend’s Warbler is one of the more striking western warblers. While many warblers head to Central or South America in fall, Townsend’s brings a splash of color to winter in my home state of California and north as far as Vancouver Island.
