Cool Facts:

The Glossy Ibis is the most widespread ibis in the world, and its range is still expanding in the Americas. This species originates in the old world, but sometime in the last few centuries some birds managed to ride the trade winds from Africa to the Caribbean, and are spreading north and south from there.
